Best of the Best, Australia's Longest Running West Coast Swing Event, is FINALLY returning to Sydney in 2022.
Held in the Southern Sydney Event Centre Hurstville at Club Central, this official World Swing Dance Council event runs over four spectacular days and nights showcasing some of the best West Coast Swing Dancers in Australia.
With WSDC Jack & Jill competitions, Pro shows, performances, dance parties till 3am, workshops and much more, this jam-packed weekend equates to a dance event you don't want to miss.
Best of the Best's goal is to provide an expansive learning platform to allow all dancers to grow in a safe environment allowing all participants to work at being the best version of themselves. The theme is Building on the Basics (BotB) at all levels. So, let’s dust off those Covid cobwebs and join the Best of the Best crew in celebrating its return to Sydney for an event that is sparked to offer something for everyone.

The final schedule is yet to be announced, but the highlights of this 4-day celebration of the Best of the Best’s Sydney Relaunch include:
- a showcase of some the best West Coast Swing Dancers in Australia.
- WSDC J&J competitions, Strictly Swing
- a Red-Carpet event to celebrate the Sydney Relaunch,
- at least 10 Workshops
- 4 Dance Parties (3 of which will run till 3am), and more ….
EVENT Philosophy
Best of the Best's philosophy is to promote a supportive learning culture, by providing a creative platform to allow all dancers to grow in a judgement free environment. It is all about encouraging participation and giving all participants the opportunity to work at being the best version of themselves.
